Pray With Us - July 29, 2017

Happy Sunday once again!

Time for us to gather once again to pray for CFRR 2017.

Thank you so much for all those beautiful prayers going up on behalf of everyone at CFRR. If the Lord has answered a prayer request in your life relating to CFRR we would love to hear about it.Our wonderful organizers have seen God answer prayer this week, in ways that ONLY could have been Him, because their prayer request was unknown to anyone but Him. How wonderful is our Lord!

THIS WEEK WE HAVE A SPECIAL REQUEST

Please do spiritual warfare on behalf of CFRR and every single person connected that is and their families. Please do not forget to include yourself and your own family. That roaring lion, our enemy, does not want us to glorify God. He will do his best to send his fiery darts our way.

Please be aware and put on the armor of God so that we can stand. The battle is the Lords. AMEN

This, then, is how you should pray:

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

Matthew 6: 9 - 10 (NIV)

As you spend time in prayer, please consider the following prayer items:

  • Pray for each attendee, that they will see God's provision and feel His blessing.
  • Pray for the music and worship time.
  • Pray for the last few shipments to get to the bookseller.
  • Pray for our international attendees, for strength and good health and for energy and rest when needed. They are coming a long way. Also, pray for smooth border crossings or security checks at airports.
  • Thank God for our sponsors.
  • Praise God for a full house and for the opportunities for readers and authors to meet and mingle.
  • Pray for Annie and Carrie and Bonnie Roof's health. For traveling mercies as they prepare to be there days before the event to prepare the best time for all of us.
  • Pray for those not able to attend this year, that they will trust for another opportunity.
  • Pray for every one of our authors and attendees, organizers and sponsors, for logistics, deadlines, travel plans and family challenges.
  • Some of us are facing challenges which can be discouraging, please pray on behalf of those struggling, intercede and hold them up to the Father.
  • Pray for the families of the attendees, that they will remain safe and healthy.
  • Thank God for the many volunteers who are willing to help serve to make this day awesome.
  • Pray for the hotel staff, that they will see the light of Jesus shining through us.

Thank you for every single prayer you lift up to our Father on behalf of CFRR 2017.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Getting to know the Authors of CFRR Round VII!

Just match the author to what they said to the following questions. (Answers will be on the bottom, after their short bios.)

  1. Write or draw (I can't believe I asked this to a bunch of writers!)?  "Yes to writing…and I love to send handwritten notes."
  2. Favorite book of an author of CFRR? "
It's odd that's it's a CR and not a HR, but I have to say it's My Stubborn Heart by a Becky Wade!"
  3. Favorite book when you were younger? "Any book in the Nancy Drew series!"
  4. Favorite book quote from a classic? " 'I'll think about that tomorrow.' Scarlet O'Hara in "Gone With the Wind" ;)"

  6. One item in your purse that defines you (and not your license)? "My keychain. Hear me out on this one. I use my author ribbon keychain, though it's only partially because it has my website on it. Prior to using this keychain it was not unheard of for me to lose my keys inside my purse. Even when it was small."
